Villagers are set for another round of roadworks, just months after workers cleared up following two years of disruption.
The A6068 through Cross Hills, near Keighley, and Glusburn is to be closed at night as North Yorkshire County Council starts a resurfacing and repair project.
Highway bosses say the recent excavation works have seen a deterioration in the ageing carriageway to a point where repairs are necessary.
The road between Station Road, Cross Hills, and Carr Head Lane, Glusburn, will be closed overnight from 7pm from Monday, August 11, to Friday, August 22, excluding the weekend. Resurfacing between Dalesway junction and Station Road will be during the day from Monday, August 18, to Wednesday, August 20, with one-way traffic and diversions in place.
