Michael Platt hopes for a treble celebration tomorrow - returning to the Bulls side, marching on towards Wembley and toasting his new three-year deal.
The Bradford full back has featured only once since pulling his hamstring against Catalans in March, with first injury and then Dave Halley's stellar performances keeping him on the sidelines.
But he hopes to be back for the Carnegie Challenge Cup fifth-round tie versus the same opponents and today revealed he has also put pen to paper on a deal that keeps him at Odsal until 2011.
Platt's current contract is up at the end of Super League XIII so the player, who joined from Castleford 18 months ago, is thrilled at extending his stay.
"When I signed here I knew I was coming to one of the top clubs and that's where all players want to do their stuff," said Platt, who is set to start against the Dragons with James Evans a doubt due to a dead-leg.
"I'm delighted to be staying at Bradford for another three years and I think I've improved while I've been here.
"I've still got a lot to do but the club have shown a lot of faith in me by giving me a deal that long.
"I don't know too many Bradford Bulls who have gone on to higher heights from here and leaving was not something I ever wanted to do, so it's great it's all sorted."
The prospect of reaching Wembley is exciting 24-year-old Platt, who has vivid Challenge Cup memories as a supporter.
He said: "I went to watch St Helens against Bradford with my dad in 1996 and 97. He's a Saints fan and I used to go with him to games but they're the only two times I've been to Wembley.
"Obviously Bradford lost both times but hopefully it'll be third time lucky this year with the Bulls getting there and winning.
"I'd love to play there. I think it is the best stadium in the world and it was one of the goals we set at the start of the year.
"We're only three wins away now but this is a massive game. We know, being the Challenge Cup, we can't afford any slip-ups and Catalans will be tough.
"I feel I can add something to the team though and am looking forward to playing if selected."
It has been a frustrating spell for Platt, whose only appearance in the last nine weeks has been a brief stint off the bench versus Toulouse in the previous round.
That was his first after hamstring trouble but he broke his nose in the game and has been back in reserve grade since, unable to dislodge rookie Halley, who continues to impress in the No1 berth.
"It's never nice as you want to play in every match but it's part and parcel of the game," explained Platt, who had been first-choice full back until injury struck.
"You just have to sit there, bite your tongue, bite your nails, get on with things and then make the most of your chance when you get it.
"I want to get back up to performing well straight away and am really looking forward to playing again."
Bulls boss Steve McNamara said of Platt's new deal: "I am delighted we have been able to keep Michael at the club and very pleased with the progress he has made since he joined us.
"He's an outstanding athlete and is developing into a very good full back. For me, he has all the attributes and if he continues to learn and improve, he can go a long way in the game."

I agree Halley returns the ball quicker but he stops as soon as tackled where Platt is stronger and will often break the first line. I'm not knocking either player but I do believe Halley could be a real bonus for us on the wing, where someone else makes him the gap and he's away.

The evidence is right there in front of you, the Bulls are poor, foresaw this before the season even started. Yes, mugs money - Peanuts compared to what potential earnings there is elsewhere. My time is priceless and I am a supreme being when it comes to the world of RL - Do not doubt me minion. I couldn't care less what your comments are based on, why worry about what mine are based on? As for me having no lack of confidence, your are bang right, I am very confident in my own ability in whatever I do. Anyhow, dont make things up which I have never spoken of, I have never said we would finish outside the top 6, so your telling fibs. Thats not good. So, no, I am not wrong on that one. Also, if you dont care about my tone, then shut up moaning about it and just do your stuff. You might be your own person, but you still follow the trend. Maybe we can meet one day and you can shake my hand and wash my feet, I would like that, and it would be such an honour for you also. Yes, nice essay. A+ BTW, Macca is a crap coach. An essay.... i havent written one of those in many a year and would definitely not dedicate the time of any such form of a paper to you. Your comments were (and I quote) we are not a top 6 side". Refute this as much as you like, but I know what I read and had I the time and inclination to go back through the archives I would, but I dont so I wont. Believe me also, that that post did not take much time to write at all but thanks for reading it and glancing over most of it in your response. I dont worry about what your comments are based on in the slightest. You made a sweeping statement and for me to believe what you projected i asked for clarification, which you couldnt give me. Therefore, i dont actually believe a word of it. And yes, that is my perogative to do so and no one elses. Ok, I will not mention your tone again, however I probably used the wrong word there. I was referring to your choice of words in relation to my nickname on here. I do apologise for that, but i do still feel that it is very offensive to many disabled people who probably also frequent this site. But i wouldnt think you would care less about that all the same. I follow no trend. I follow my team, through thick and thin. You may want to try being part of a team someday. Get some life experience. Then maybe you would understand what ACTUAL team work is all about. I would gladly shake your hand, however I wash my own feet and those of my son and no one elses. I bow to no person either for that matter and am a minion to my family, of which you are not a part of. I was also just thinking, that maybe its a good job that you wouldn

Arbuably the best FB in the world has the same stats as Halley, thats Matt Bowen.
David Halley need to increase his strength more than anything, which will come with training and he will be busting tackles all over the place.
He has for more talent, potetential and ability than Michael Platt in every aspect of their games.
