Detectives are today planning to question a 21-year-old man about a sexual assault on a teenage girl in her home.

The 16-year-old was indecently assaulted by a man who climbed through a window of her home in Idle, Bradford, after he claimed to be a door -to-door salesman.

The teenager, who was on her own, was persuaded by the man to open the window. He fled when the girl’s mother arrived home.

Detectives from Airedale and North Bradford CID are planning to interview a 21-year-old Baildon man who was arrested in connection with a bogus official burglary at the home of a 92-year-old woman in Bramley, Leeds.

The arrested man will be questioned about alleged sexual touching and burglary.
