Police in bird killing probe

Police are appealing for information after receiving reports of black-headed gulls being deliberately killed in the Craven area.

Investigations are under way by the Craven area’s Wildlife Crime Officer PC Vanessa Bateson. She said: “North Yorkshire Police takes wildlife crime extremely seriously and we will use the full power of the law against those committing such offences.
