Stuart McCall injected some drive into City’s promotion push - by taking them go-karting.

The budding Lewis Hamiltons sped round the track this afternoon at the Chequered Flag karting centre at Netherfield Road in Guiseley.

McCall said: “We’ve got a busy period coming up with five matches in the space of two weeks so it’s nice for the players to do something different.

“None of them knew about it before. They were just told we’d be in all day.

“But the players worked very hard this morning with the bleep tests and we just felt this was a bit of a reward for them.”

How ironical the players going round & round in circles, hopefully they have transferred their recent Saturday afternoon performances to a Monday!!,

After this Karting experience lets hope our promotion hopes move up a gear, & hopefully accelerate us up the league!

Onwards & Further Upwards !!
