Cougars boss Barry Eaton has warned his side not to get complacent against Workington Town.

The teams clash for the fourth time this season on Sunday, with Keighley boasting a 100 per cent record heading into the National League Two fixture at Cougar Park.

“We’ve already played Workington three times this year so we know how tough a game this will be,” said Eaton.

“We’ve won all three of those games, so they’ll be wanting to redress that and they’ve had some good form recently.

“Workington are in there challenging for the latter play-off places and we’ll have to be on our guard.”

Having battled hard to see off Doncaster last week, the fourth-placed Cougars will not want to take their foot off the gas – but they are sweating on the fitness of Jon Presley.

The stand-off injured his arm and back during that dramatic win and is doubtful, although Eaton was giving him as long as possible to recover.

“Jon’s very tender but he’s showed signs of improvement and we’ll keep monitoring him before making a decision,” he said.

Craig Fawcett is on stand-by to take over the No 6 role if Presley does not pull through.

Town are without Bryce Poisel (shoulder) but Mark Routledge could make a return to Dave Rotheram’s line-up.

Rotheram said: “There’s been very little between us this year so I’m hoping we can make an improvement and get the points this weekend.”

Meanwhile, Cougars Reserve Grade are in action tomorrow afternoon at Workington.
