Hat-trick of hat-tricks for T-birds

Three players scored hat-tricks as Bradford Thunderbirds powered to a 72-4 victory at newly-promoted Halton Ladies.

The Thunderbirds actually started with only eight players due to traffic congestion but still managed to run in the game’s first try.

The outcome never looked in doubt as Bradford ran riot once they were back up to their full complement.

Trebles came from Nat Parsons, Danielle Bose and Sam Mclean, while Rene Gregoire crossed twice.

The remaining tries were scored by Minina Spurr, Emma Proctor and Martina Greenwood, with Parson adding eight conversions.
