Having nursed the bruises from the hammering that the team - much-changed owing to injury and sickness - suffered at Cambridge, Wharfedale face another daunting National League Two task at Launceston on Saturday.
The Cornish All Blacks began the season strongly, but have faded of late, with four defeats in their last five matches - including a surprising home loss to Mounts Bay.
There is no chance whatever of the Dalesmen being over-confident, however, though at least some of last week's absentees have reported fit for duty.
Former Bees prop Chris Steel needs another week, at least, to recover from his neck injury, and Tom Ball is unavailable.
Vice-captain Alastair Allen moves to No 8, with Gavin Jones starting at open-side flanker.
Tom Wareing makes his first squad appearance of the season, taking a bench seat.
Wharfedale (at Launceston): A Whaites; D Hart, A Hodgson, M Bedworth, J Gill; L Gray, J Doherty; P Hall, S Freer, B Fear, D Lister, A Capstick, O Renton, A Allen, G Jones. Replacements: F Lovatt, D Charnley, T Wareing, T Cokell, S Moon.
