Promotion-chasing Bradford Salem have eased their second-row crisis by signing Tom Lund.
However, last season’s Bradford Grammar School captain is not available for Saturday's Yorkshire Division One match at home to York because of university commitments.
Salem’s match secretary Neil Klenk said: “We are already without five locks – Tom Hamill, Damien Pearson, John Morrell, Damien Cope and Jonny Luxton. Tom Lund, who has also played for the under-19 Barbarians, isn’t available until a week on Saturday, but he’ll plug the gap until Christmas.”
Bradford Salem (home to York): R Langhorn; P Deer, K Whata, C Bourne, C Savva; J Robinson, I Woodwiss; C Buxton, S Fields, D Luxton, B Scarbrough, R Bourne, D Wyness, K Falwasser, S Cowman. Replacements: J Simpson, D McNicholl, A N Other.
