Uncommon York victory for Victoria

Junior international Victoria Stevens gave herself an early Christmas present by defeating all-comers to win the 5.5km green orienteering course in 41min 24sec at Strensall Common, near York.

Youngsters lead the way for Airienteers

A somewhat depleted Airienteers team competed in the final of the National Junior Inter-Club competition last Sunday at Sandringham in Norfolk, and finished tenth behind winners Octavian Droobers from Warwickshire. Jo Woodley (M12) of Guiseley and Florence Haines (W10) of Ilkley both had great runs in competitive fields to finish third.
