West are best with eight straight

Westwood Juniors made it a clean sweep in the Keybury League with all eight teams enjoying victories.

The under-sevens beat Bradford United 1-0, a goal from Josh Milnes and great keeping from Joshua Allan securing the result.

The under-eights Jets racked up a 14-0 scoreline against Pudsey A. Goals came from Josh Silson, Ellis Wade and Tyler Rhodes among others.

Dolphins under-eights defeated Pudsey B 2-1, with Luke Stoyles and James Larvin scoring the goals.

The under-nines Jets overpowered Guiseley White 4-1, with Bradley Hardy (2), Rowan Milnes and Connor Atkinson contributing goals.

Under-nine Dolphins knocked Guiseley Blue for a 6-0 defeat. Macauley Dixon scored twice, along with Lewis Palmer, Inderpal Cergil, Bradley Cunningham and Ismail Faiz.

The under-tens Jets won a top-of-the-table clash with Thackley Warriors 2-1 with a goal in each half from Adam Perry and Ross Kelly.

Callum Armitage scored twice as under-ten Dolphins recorded a 4-1 win over Thackley Crusaders, while the under-tens Spartans notched up their first win, beating Thackley Storm 4-2 as Robbie Sharkey chipped in with two goals.

Albion Sports under-eights fell 4-0 to a fiesty Idle side, while their under-nines scored two fine goals from Lewis Hawkes and newcomer Aiden Keating in a 4-2 defeat at Grassington. Yusuf Hussain pulled of a string of great saves in goal.

Sports under-tens’ 100 per-cent winning streak came to an end in a 2-1 loss at Wilsden despite a great goal from Macauley McCluskey.

Bradford United under-nine whites maintained their unbeaten start with a 4-0 win over Shipley. Kietan Shergill, Joel Steele, Owen Clark and Mason Kirby got the goals.

Bradford United under-ten reds were 4-0 down against BD3 United as Safian Mahmood (2), Klaudius Glodek and Saliq Malik, with a 30-yarder, found the net.

Jack Mongan and Josh McKiernan pulled goals back but Danyal Yasin added a fifth for BD3.

There was better news for Bradford United under-11 blues who beat Queensbury 6-3 thanks to a a hat-trick from Riccardo Macor, a brace for debutant Hanif Hussain and one for man of the match Pemphero Kallingama.

Thackley Thunder under-eights made it four wins in a row, beating Horsforth 5-1 away as Lewis Collett (3), Joshua Barrett and Michael Stewart found the target.

Thackley Lightning enjoyed a 3-1 success thanks to goals from Jacob Dawson, Jorge Jubieski and Callum Hart.

Sandy Lane under-nine reds lost 3-0 to Bingley A, for whom Max Tasker was outstanding. Lane blues got their own back with a 2-0 win over Bingley B, Connor Banham scoring twice.

Albion Sports under-12s A eased into the second round of the West Riding FA Junior Shield, hammering Silsden A 11-1, including four each from Marcus Harper and Ryan Watling.

Bradford under-12s lost 7-1 to Shelf as Josh Finanan netted a consolation.

In the West Riding FA Junior Trophy, Farsley under-14s destroyed Grassington 16-0. Nico Carrucciu, Dominic Staunton and Andre Khan scored four each, with Joe Kitson adding a brace.

Bradford Park Avenue under-13 girls beat Farsley Celtic 4-3 in the West Riding Girls League. Avenue took through Rachel Emmett but were 3-1 down at half-time. However, a hat-trick from debutante sub Chloe Pearson clinched victory for Avenue.

Shelf Juniors under-10s B enjoyed a 4-0 win against Kirkheaton in the Huddersfield League thanks to a treble from Ashley Bayles.

BD3 United under-12s recorded their biggest ever win in the Craven, Aire and Wharfe League, beating Shipley Pumas 23-0, with nine goals coming from Hamza Plaza.

Their under-15s also hit the goal trail in a big way with a 15-1 win at Keighley Shamrocks, Saeed Hussain scoring four.

BD3 under-11s were 5-2 winners over Bradford Park Avenue thanks to a hat-trick from M Armaan and two from Krishan Patel.

Campion under-17s marched to an 8-2 victory against Long Lee Cobras. Goals came from man of the match Andy Hawker, Adam Wood, Yves Tshomba and Josh Hans in addition to a hat-trick from Aaron Metcalfe.

Bradford Tigers under-12s produced an inconsistent performance against Westwood Dolphins but won the friendly 3-0 with goals from Luke Duckett, William Gilroy and Lucas Davey.

The return of goalkeeper Leon Thompson spurred Huddersfield League side Vision under-11s to their best performance of the season which saw a 5-0 victory over Linthwaite.

James Dennisson, Tom Bentham and Ryan Whitfield made it 3-0 at half-time and Caden Wilkinson and a second from Dennisson put the icing on the cake.

Vision under-tens A beat Brighouse A 5-0 while the Vision B team were runaway 15-1 winners over Brighouse, man of the match Alex Grady scoring five, Joseph Lawrence four and Elliot Hincliffe a hat-trick.
