Westwood Dolphins Under-Sevens have continued their fantastic start to the Keybury League season.

They made it seven wins out of seven by defeating Gomersal-Cleck-heaton Panthers 5-0, James Larvin bagging a hat-trick, other strikes coming from Ryan Abbasi and Luke Stoyles.

BD3 United were unlucky to lose their Green Division clash 1-0 to Bradford Tigers, creating plenty of chances, but there was no doubting the superiority of Bradford United, who beat improving Silsden 14-0.

The outstanding Ali Arshad scored seven, Regan Davidson hitting four and Jack Brimacombe two. Thomas Marshall came out of the nets at half-time to score United’s other goal.

Goalkeeper Declan Kay, who was man of the match, made it six clean sheets in a row as Westwood Jets under-eights defeated Gomersal-Cleckheaton Pumas 2-0. Goals came from Oliver Kirk-Patrick and Josh Silson.

Finley Power netted twice for Idle Juniors and defender Robin Wagstaff was superb in their 2-2 draw against Bramley Phoenix.

Eisa Faulding got a first-half hat-trick, while man of the match Asa Mitchell scored twice. Also on the scoresheet were Cameron Miles, George Wood, Jack Halmshaw, Jack Gilroy and Luke Crane. Jordan Moorhouse ensured a clean sheet with a couple of fine saves.

Albion Sports were dominant from start to finish in their 9-2 victory at Bolton Woods, man of the match Nathaniel Hendricks and captain Spencer Gordon both bagging hat-tricks, Rajveer Takhar, Jacob McNulty and Callum Chahal completing the tally.

Joshua Debenham’s great effort was all that separated victorious Thackley Thunder’s under-nines from Westwood Juniors.

Albion Sports beat Eccleshill United 2-1 with the last kick of the match to notch their first win of the campaign, despite going behind to a great Josh Metcalf strike and finding Levi Henderson Lee a difficult barrier to pass.

Aiden Keating and captain Lewis Hawkes got the goals but keeper Suhail Wajid made three superb saves.

BD3 United’s 4-2 victory over Weston Lane enabled then to leap-frog their third-placed opponents in the table.

Omed Hussain gave BD3 an interval lead only for Lane to equalise early in the second half. Mizanur Rehman, Shoaib Khan and Sudais Khan made it 4-1 to BD3 before Lane got a late consolation.

Liam Brook (4), Joel Steele (3), man of the match Jordan Broadbent (3), Joel Surbutts and Owen Clark netted for Bradford United in their 12-0 victory over Thackley Storm, while BD3 United extended their winning run to five matches by defeating Thackley Dragons 6-0. Queensbury Cougars Under-Tens twice came from behind to earn a 2-2 draw against Gomersal Blues, Lewis Thickett and Harry Palmer netting for Cougars.

Jake Croft, Bilak Kiani and Declan Kirwan were on target for Campion Irons in their 3-2 victory over Thackley Knights in a contest that could have gone either way.

Jack Stead’s late stunner put the icing on the cake for Albion Sports in their 8-1 triumph at Westwood, other efforts coming from Kyle Trenerry (3), man of the match Bradley Jones (2) and Michael Ngwenya having scored earlier.

Man of the match Pemphero Kallingama netted twice for Bradford United in their 3-1 under-11 victory over Prospect, Riccardo Mayor getting the other, and Kallingama had also scored twice the day before as Bradford Tigers were beaten 3-0, Hanif Hussain being the other marksman. Alex Bannon was man of the match.

In the Craven, Aire & Wharfe League, Krishan Patel helped himself to a hat-trick as Bradford United Under-11s won 8-3 at Keighley Stags.

United’s Under-13s trailed Guiseley 3-1 with eight minutes left but salvaged a draw with goals from man of the match Usman Khan and Shabaz Ali. Sami Younis got United’s earlier strike.

Meanwhile, United’s Under-15s kept up their 100 per cent league record by defeating second-placed visitors Burley Trojans 10-2, man of the match Saeed Hussain netting five.

Eccleshill United continued their winning run in the West Riding County FA Junior Shield, beating Wigton Moor 2-1 at Plumpton Park.

Bradford Tigers Under-12s, who still lead Division B of the Craven, Aire & Wharfe League, got a taste of what might be next season in a friendly at Steeton.

They played on a pristine pitch but lost 2-0, Steeton passing the ball better. Tigers had their moments. Michael Chalmers making an encouraging debut at right back.

Vision under-nines A are still top of their Huddersfield Junior League section after a 7-2 defeat of Clifton Rangers.

Goals came from Harrison Moon (3), Kieron Baker (2), Harry Hines and Brandon Thompson.
