First and last for Wyke

Wyke under-11s lost 34-10 to West Bowling when they met for the first time in two seasons in the West Riding Youth League.

Wyke opened the scoring with a 60-metre Liam Whomack dash but Bowling responded with two converted tries to go in 12-4 ahead at the interval.

Another four Bowling tries as their opponents tired put the game out of reach, although Aidan Holmes had the final say with his first-ever try for Wyke.
