Four players from Prince Henry’s Grammar School, Otley have been named in the North’s training squad for the Divisional Under-18 Festival.
Richard Rhodes, Dave Simmons, Ben Sowrey and Chris Walker, who are all attached to Leeds Carnegie, will be at the first session on Sunday at Kirkstall.
Also attending among the 56 players will be Bradford Grammar School duo Harry-John Rowan and Oli Shaw and Woodhouse Grove’s Harry Hannon.
Shaw and Hannon are among 11 Leeds Carnegie players selected, and Giggleswick pair George Elliott and Mark Gemmell have also been picked.
After this weekend, there will be two more development weekends next month before the North face the South West on January 2 in the Divisional Festival at Broadstreet RFC, Coventry.
The divisional programme is an integral part of the selection process for England’s representative sides that take part in Home Unions and Association of European Rugby festivals.
