Jamie Langley column: It’s that time of year again – play-off football.

We’ve got Wigan and it’s a great prospect ahead.

I think we’d have been happy with any draw but we have managed to get them away and – fortunately or unfortunately, whichever way you want to look at it – the ground’s been moved and we’re now at Widnes.

It should be a cracking game, we’re one apiece for the season and it’s all to play for.

The boys have trained well, we’re really up for it and now just waiting for the match to come around.

I’ve played at Widnes only a couple of times before back in the day when I was just coming into the side. It’s a great facility and I’m sure Finny will know it inside out to give us a few more tips.

Wigan are playing some good football but you can chuck the form book out of the window this time of year as everyone is going to be on top of their game.

They have quality players and we are aware of their threats. It’ll be a tough challenge but just what we want.

It’s good to see Morro back. He’s had a nice little break home in Oz to let his leg recover and now seems to be trotting around on the field like a 16-year-old again.

Glenn seems to get younger every year and he looks really well. I think he’s beefed up – must have been tucking into one too many kangaroos – but he’s in great nick and it’s given the boys a real buzz seeing him training again.

We were surprised but Morro looks after himself, is a good pro and he’s given himself every chance of getting back and he’s done that.

The tipping comp has ended with Chilli Nero finishing first but the main one everyone was bothered about was the bottom three who have to treat the lads at Nandos – so, Martin Clawson, Sam Burgess and Matt James, cheers for a good feed!
