Reese Witherspoon was a late arrival at the LA premiere of her latest film Four Christmases.
Leading man Vince Vaughn was unable to attend the event at Grauman's Chinese Theatre, with Reese explaining he was in Bora Bora in French Polynesia.
"I wish he could be here tonight but he's making another great funny movie that we're all going to enjoy next year," Reese said.
The actress also revealed that she personally loves more of a simple Christmas.
"I like to go carolling every year and also give back to the community, things like that," she said before being whisked inside.
Pushing Daisies star Kristin Chenoweth, who plays Reese's sister in the film, joked how her celebrations were "very dorky".
"Our family is really traditional. I go home to Oklahoma and we read the story of Jesus being born out of the bible and then we light candles and say what we're most thankful for," she said.
Cast members Sissey Spacek, Robert Duvall, and Jon Favreau posed for photos while Minnie Driver was also among the invited guests, showing of her fab post-pregnancy figure on the red carpet.
Director Seth Gordon hung around a little longer to explain just why he'd wanted to work with both the Legally Blonde actress and the Dodgeball star: "There's a lot of younger men that love his films and a lot of women who love her films, so it was a great pairing actually to have them together.
"When they get together on set its just electric."
