Model Nicola McLean continued to make waves in the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! camp despite her eviction from the jungle.
The glamour model's disputes with David Van Day lasted until the bitter end, with McLean blanking the singer when he tried to give her a goodbye hug.
Feeling the snub, he retaliated with a vicious impersonation of his departed camp mate which involved him stuffing two rolls of toilet roll under his top. Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, he said in a high-pitched voice: "Hello I'm back, I'm the new eye candy on the show. That David Van Day, I hate him, he's horrible, look at me, vote for me, it shouldn't have been me, it should have been him."
Spotting McLean's staunch supporter Martina Navratilova as he left the Bush Telegraph, he quickly removed the toilet rolls.
McLean's departure had reduced the normally stoic tennis champion to tears, prompting her to complain: "It's not fair, I'm really disappointed, I thought it would be George (Takei) or David."
Joe Swash paid a less flattering tribute to McLean by naming a rat after her. Feeding the rodent soya beans before it ran off, he said: "It was a brief relationship, like many of my relationships."
Back in the luxury of her hotel, McLean remained unchanged in her opinion of Van Day: "He's out for himself and to revive Dollar. He's an unattractive man on all levels. He made me feel violently sick. He cannot win this show."
Van Day's fury at learning that Swash and Simon Webbe were writing a song together will have done nothing to dispel her suspicions he hopes to promote his musical career.
Fearing it could be competition for the number he composed with Timmy Mallett, he told Webbe, formerly of the boy band Blue: "Don't write any more songs. There's only room for one song in this jungle and that's Biff, Baff, Boff."
Meanwhile Navratilova's selection for the day's Bushtucker Trial, Wash and Cry, provided with her with a distraction from McLean's departure as she rooted around a foul tub of fish guts to find items of camp clothing which had stars on them. Time pressures meant she won just a couple of stars, taking two meals back to camp.
